Simple receipt generator for small businesses and freelancers
Use this when you need a quick payment receipt. Enter your business name, the buyer's details, line items, and payment info. The receipt shows a clean layout suitable for printing or exporting as PDF via your browser's print dialog.
How to use
- Receipt details: Set the receipt number, date, and payment method.
- Buyer and seller: The "Received from" field is the payer — who paid you. The "Seller" field is your business.
- Items: List each item as
Description | Quantity | Unit price. Example:Website setup | 1 | 300. - Discount and tax: Applied before the total. Leave at 0 if not needed.
- Payment: Enter how much was actually paid and choose the status.
- Generate and print: Click Generate Receipt to preview, then Print / Save PDF to save.
What's the difference between a receipt and an invoice?
An invoice requests payment for work done. A receipt confirms payment has already been received. Use the Invoice Generator when you need to bill someone, and this Receipt Generator when you need to confirm they paid.
Tips
