How it works
This calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, widely considered the most accurate BMR formula:
- Male: BMR = 10 × weight(kg) + 6.25 × height(cm) − 5 × age − 5 + 166
- Female: BMR = 10 × weight(kg) + 6.25 × height(cm) − 5 × age − 5 − 161
Your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) is BMR × activity multiplier. Adjusting by your goal gives your target daily calories.
Quick tips
- Use trends over weeks, not daily fluctuations.
- Activity levels are estimates — adjust based on real results.
- Consult a dietitian before making major diet changes.
